Based on a true story, “Dynamite: A Cautionary Tale” follows family man Max Bornstein who was a full-time dope fiend working within the underground, highly illegal pornography industry in 1968’s New York City. While running books and films to delivery points and mob headquarters around the east coast, Max had the Feds on his tail. But even in the wake of a federal investigation, Max’s truest worry was his wife and two young children, a family kept in the dark about Max’s reality and the walls of it caving in around him. As Max battles his consuming addiction, dissolving family unit and the growing suspicion about his drug use amongst his associates, Max watches helplessly as his well-crafted reality falls to pieces, leaving him searching for the spaces in between.

In the year 3000, the deep space salvage ship Mother III locates the vanished starship Demeter in the Carpathian System. Captain Abraham Van Helsing and his crew composed of the blonde assistant Aurora Ash; the crippled navigator Arthur “The Professor” Holmwood, who believes that he is a genius; the strong and dumb Humvee; the intern Mina Murry; and the drug addicted 187, decide to claim the possession of Demeter. While exploring the spacecraft, they see a tape of fifty years ago of Captain Varna telling that he was locked in his cabin since his crew was acting weird after getting a cargo of coffins in Transylvania station. When 187 decides to search in the coffins for some possible hidden dope, he cuts his hand and his blood awakes Count Orlock, a.k.a. Count Dracula. When Aurora discloses who Dracula is, the survivors try to find a way to destroy the vampire.

Jane’s lover Dax overdoses on heroin. Wanting to kill the pain of loss, Jane does dope for the first time and is soon on the way to addiction herself. She then discovers that drug users are being haunted by the ghosts of dead addicts. Soon she’s being followed by her dead boyfriend Dax as well as other thirsty spirits. Jane meets Rick, a young man with his own similar story. Rick is being tormented too…by the ghost of his overdosed girlfriend Azami, the most dangerous of the junkie vampire ghosts. Jane returns to her apartment after one night of nonstop terror. She goes into her bedroom and finds someone sleeping face down in her bed. Not getting a response, Jane turns over the body…
